When building an extension there are a few unforseen factors that the client must be aware of. One is to understand that if the house is older the bricks and roof tiles used originally, might not be available today. Second is trying to add to older materials that have passed there used by date in some cases this can mean removing and replacing with new. The majority of the time we recommend the client consider moving to alternative accommodation for the duration of the build to minimise disruption to their life.
